Engaged Leaders Program
The Engaged Leaders Program is designed to support and recognize undergraduate students who commit to sustained work with communities beyond the campus throughout their time at the University of Mississippi. The program curriculum will introduce students to the value and practice of engaged leadership that enables individuals to work collaboratively in community as an agent of social change.
Beginning in the Fall of 2022, students will be eligible to join the program through the end of their third semester at the University of Mississippi. Transfer students with a minimum of four semesters of study remaining will be eligible to join the program.
Engaged Leaders is a collaboration between the Center of Community Engagement (CCE) in the Division of Diversity and Community Engagement (DCE) and The Gertrude C. Ford Ole Miss Student Union Student Leadership Programming. CCE staff are available to connect students to engagement opportunities and partnerships, offer student advising, facilitate learning opportunities and skill training. We are dedicated to student success, equity, and personal growth through community engagement. Interested students can contact the Center for Community Engagement for additional information.
